3 winners (inc the nap) from the first 3. 370.25/1 treble. Great tipping Blue.

Cheers GDC, I have a fun yankee going onto it, but when one is 16-1 like Humidor it starts being more serious than fun.

Never go off your intuitive solution. I selected Cai Shen (an intuitive selection based on my recollection of some earlier form) then I studied the race and went for Zeitoper.<doh>

Still I'm sure it works the other way sometimes.

No complaints with white frost, it travelled beautifully and i really thought the four timer was on and was getting quite excited but had nothing when the real cards were played.

I know what you mean with Cai Shen Ron he has one race earlier in the season which was really good form but unfortunately did not really follow it up. He did it easy today though.

After a difficult days racing Bluesky has gone off at what must be a suicidal pace. The rest of the field are thinking he is a fool (probably rightly) and will come back to them whilst Ron is not so sure and is sitting up a little closer. This being a staying event rather than a sprint there are still many opportunities over the next 3 days to close on the two leaders and give a cheeky look across as they gasp for breath.

We lost 3 gallant racers today who have clearly not run to form and on past results their day will come once again soon. In fact i feel the stewards will maybe call one or two in for an explanation as it looks like they may be protecting a handicap mark for a big meet. Nevertheless 3 more will be lost after racing tomorrow and the final 6 carried forward to Friday.

The bottom 3 are eliminated, Barney just scrapped in the cut ahead of Saxonviolins due to having more winners.

Ron <laugh> only time for a cursory glance today I'm afraid as I haven't been in the office. Best of luck to the remaining runners. They'll need to go some to peg back this early leader though.
