Just watched his post match interview and he is like a Rabbit in the headlights. He is completely lost. Someone....anyone.... needs to put this guy out of his (and our) week on week misery. The club has become an embarrassment. Sorry Phil, time to move on, you're not up to the job.
Indeed. He is capable, but you rarely see it. none of these players will play above league one standard, just like parky will never manage above it. This gets more obvious each week.
Sack Parky now and stick Leads in as caretaker. Only has to be for a few weeks and I think he would command more respect and at least we know he loves our club.
We are the biggest club he’ll ever or has ever managed, has never had the skill to manage as big as us and has failed pathetically he sees it but he’s just waiting for the golden handshake
How about dickman and leads, he’s got the younguns playing well and scoring, surely he’d give them a chance in the first team also giving grant a hand until we get a good name in
Right.. Once I have settled down a bit I can say that our first half performance was good and if we had been awarded what was a stonewall penalty it may have been a different story. This doesn't hide the fact that we can't kill games off and the way we defended deeper and deeper as the game went on had me feeling that what eventually happened was inevitable.
If we had been given that penalty we'd have just stopped attacking and pressing in their half that bit earlier
This horrendous slump in our form has come at exactly the wrong time in the takeover ramifications. I don't need to spell it out but the only way, imo, is to sack Parkinson, take the financial hit, appoint a caretaker and allow the new people to sort out the mess. Sadly I believe Donald will allow things to continue ... ... it's all about money, money, money.
Sad thing about Maguire is he’s good enough on his day fir championship at least. But his days are once every month at best! In his interview he literally said “we knew they’d up their game second half” THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT YOU ****ING IMBECILE! Pre-empt their “upping the game” bunt upping ours . Mate changes at half time. This would likely cause the opposition issues!!! I’m sick!! Can you tell???
I can. We're all absolutely sick to the back teeth of this useless ****er. I have no ****ing idea what he was on about in his post-match interview, it is just garbled nonsense involving a sycophantic interviewer trying to dress **** up. Rodwell needs to sack the kernt today. Just put Grant in charge short-term, it will get much better allowing a new bloke to come in & kick-on with new ownership.
Didn't watch yesterday (won't pay for streaming whilst Donald is in charge) but can anyone tell me did we work their keeper at all, did we create any chances at all bearing in mind if Grant hadn't scored from 25 yards we'd have another 0 in our scoreline. We all know it's dire but it was last season in all honesty and I'm not expecting anything different whilst our manager remains in post.
Well yes and no , on his day Maguire is often our best player on the pitch, he creates chances and scores now and again. What he lacks and what others have said about him is he is inconsistent and comes in and out of form.. As the poem goes, 'when he is good he is very very good, when he is bad he is horrid Over to the manager to get the best out of him...
Watching the Villa-Brighton game and how we could do with strikers like Maupay and Welbeck. Moving all the time. Skillful, threatening with the pace. Working together. Decent strikers would transform this team.
Get Robbie Stockdale in to help Leady out would be my suggestion, but Dickman seems to have made good progress now that that other useless t**t Reid has slid away, should have took Ball with him imo.
it must be a nightmare playing alongside the King of Passthebuck, he is the laziest bastard ever, it would be better for us if he just stayed in bed like he did at Bury. The same clots who think he is OK had no time for George Honeyman when he was here, George is probably the best midfield attacker in this division, star man for the club currently standing top of the league.
