What would you have done? We played **** no matter what tactics/formations we were using. To me that suggests the players are just ****e away from home under pressure from the home team and crowd.
Soon our home form will suffer. Teams that have played against us already (and got a draw/win) and are coming to St Marys for a return match will not be scared of us at all.
FFS I bet I'm not the only one whose confidence has gone down a bit in NA. I'm NOT saying i've lost confidence in him and that he should be sacked. I'm just saying he needs to get his away tactics right.

That last 4-1, the one at FP. Our players were like a bunch of rabbits caught in headlights, they looked terrified and the game was lost before it began. Hopefully it won't be like that this time, but they have to not let the hostility get to them.
4-4-2 Saints play much better with a 4-4-2 and always have. If we had started with Barnard and Guly up front I think we would have got a result. And WTF is Connolly - is he still injured?
Why does Adkins insist on playing Schneiderlin on the wing? Surely he saw that didn't work against Hull? We need a striker, winger, and probably a centre back in January.
Lambert is a MASSIVE loss to the team. Flick on's , Lay offs, Free Kicks, Hold up play and of course goals. Strengthen that position in Jan or it will be play offs at best. I know that play offs is a great achievement but like it or not we're in a race for the title !!
I do not agree with this, it was a close game until the last 10 mins and Portsmouth caught us pressing forward, plus they had far more quality in there side than ours at the time. About today; I think that when Adkins get his tactics wrong it goes spectacularly wrong. I think that he panicked and made unnecessary changes at half time, but I think we should not get carried away about how awful we are. It is a tight league Doncaster have improved with all their signings and finally I guess that Barnard did not start because he is not yet fit enough.
I think we'll lose at Pompey, and that's not an overreaction to the last two away games, I've been saying that for weeks. I don't believe our players are mentally strong enough.
