I thought the idea of pre-season games was to get match fitness
so what is the point of not playing first teamers?

Watching The Hundred instead, games not up to much, but worth it just for Isa Guha's legs.

Penny for the thoughts of the man who thought Harry Vaughan is George Best.

It’s men vs boys though. The initial build up looks ok then the wrong pass gets it back to Pandur rather than taking a risk. With some better players it would likely work

Tinsdale and Hall looked decent in that half to be fair. Bar the mistake Smith looked alright too. Worryingly, Fleming and Vaughan look no better than the rest, which isn't a great endorsement. Simons was too safe like many others but had some good moments. Pandur couldn't do much about their goals at all really.

Can’t afford the short turnaround for them to get injured. Also worryingly these are what steps up if any of them get injured

I can't believe Tim will be happy with that, too much playing backwards and sidewards.Tinsdale had one or two nice touches, other than that not much to write home about.

Anyone know how to find out on the Tigers+ site what your payment status is ?

I'm on a yearly sub, have paid just before last season started, have been told by a number on here that renewal of annual subscriptions is automatic, and did not pay the additional 5 quid for the game on demand option as someone said on here that the friendlies are covered by an annual subscription.

I can't get either audio or video after I've logged in ! Anyone in foreign climes having the same propblem?

He was absolutely raging on the sidelines when they weren’t a passing forward sometimes

Hoped for a bit more from a few of them, and from the tactics. That was poor. What's happened to Vaughan, seems to have gone backwards inspite of being a year older and more experienced since we last saw him? Hope he makes a few early changes, even just for the fans who've travelled and paid good money and would surely have expected better than this

He broke through when senior pros had turned the gas off. Everytime he’s played since he’s looked ridiculously out his depth.

Vaughan was never actually that good.....that's the problem. Had a few cameos and did the odd thing, created a sense of hope around a young lad, but he's zero pace, zero strength and zero skills to get past a man.

Inexperience was always going to shine through tonight. These are naive young lads who are always going to struggle against an organised fit side.

Without seeing it back and with the space their striker ended up in I'm not sure it would have made a world of difference to be honest.

Very nervy performance, not sure what anyone could learn from that except that most of that side are not ready for the first team. Thought Hall looked handy, quick on his feet and positive in his movement. Disappointed in Fleming, perhaps he hasn't fully grasped the Walter-way yet, and I thought Smith might have looked a bit more comfortable but, again, Walter's got them all running around in circles across the back so one minute you're at CB, next at RB.
