Sorry and concerned to hear Chuks Aneke has Coronavirus.

He's a strong young man and he'll get over it soon I expect. But he may have family members who are more vulnerable.
And there is the risk the virus might have spread to other players or staff.

Agreed. My comment is insensitive. More important things going on right now than football, but football is a great way to take your mind off it.

You didn't mean anything untoward Butterfield. I'm sure nobody took it the wrong way.
We're all hoping Chuks gets well soon, and that his folks and work colleagues will be OK.

Butto, all you said was that we could have done with Chuks coming on today .... which we could...nothing insensitive or needing of an apology <ok>

I went yesterday and it was a really surreal experience. With my temperature being taken and wearing a mask all through the game. Also I didn’t get out until twenty minutes after the game finished. We were as poor as I have seen for a long while. This squad are really going to struggle this season without new blood.

Well, I wrote yesterday that it would be nice to get back to talking football again. Sadly, our squad is weak. After a couple of seasons with a budget lower than low, Bowyer now has a transfer embargo to deal with until we get a new owner, or one of the current crop show ehy they are still hanging about. The upshot was a bright opening was sunk by a Donny goal, after which we folded. That will be the music until January. No incomings, and Bowyer will have to concoct match day line ups with a very mediocre selection to choose from. I hope the fans can refrain from laying blame on him, but I'm not confident.
The bright spot was having Mr Sangaard here. No news, no takeover, but it's hard to see why he'd make the arduous flight across the Atlantic twice in a week if there wasn't a plan to get a takeover done.
It's the hope that gets you.
