Transfer window's drive me up the wall, and I cannot see any benefit to them, except for agents and media low life, we got along very nicely before without them.
Yeah, I used to like them coz I thought they were exciting. Now I find them to be a circus with Jim White as the clown. One of the things that Stuart Donald said on the podcast is that he spoke to some prem clubs who told him that they don't bother with the Jan window at all; it is a false inefficient market. Squads should be set in the summer
Transfer windows are only going to get worse if they are closing them before a ball is kicked. 8-10 weeks and that’s it in summer? Will be mayhem. Even before the windows there was always a cut of point I’m sure?
Used to love listening to the mid morning Talksport show - Colin Murray was one of the best radio presenters I've ever known - then Jim White took over and he's a complete bell end. Tongue up the arse of the studio guests - when SD took over, Mickey Gray said it wasn't a good thing for SAFC - Jim White said "Mickey you know so much" when he was talking about it - Turns out he knew **** all and he was just bitter that his mates' consortium didn't get it!
Terrible station, only Hawksby any good, the rest are shocking, back to my point on the transfer window, I dont want any at all, sign any body anytime but restrict them from signing in the later stages of the of the season, to prevent panic buying, I think thats how it used to be, and it worked OK.
Yep last Thursday in March iirc. But then money took over and he transfer windows became part of the game
