Think about it. N korea had **** all to bargain with, suddenly they are a nuclear power and everybody listens. Kim seemed to be on a hell bent path to launching missiles at the US and now he’s managed to engineer talks with Trump and will likely get some of his terms met. If he’d gone to trump with his demands without nukes they would have just laughed at him.
The quicker the americans are out of the korean peninsula the better for the chinese. They're expanding south and west. They don't need a shed load of americans on their north east flank.
