    Platoon is a fcking great film.

    The central character Chris is more of a biopic of Stone's own inner battles during Vietnam.

    Funnily enough, he then made Wall Street, imagining how Chris's life may have turned out if the Vietnam War hadn't happened.

    Stone deliberately focusing on the two worst traits of America - War and Capitalist Greed.

    Faslane is the subs base. Coulport is the armory. Coulport is the real target. That's where all the good **** is kept.

    I can believe that, as Chris was a well educated person who chose to go to war,

    I do say, yes.

    My goal here is to educate the daft Nigels in here. If you happen to know what I post is true then that's fine. Others aren't so informed.

    It's good you can back me up though.

    <cheers>

    Have you done Crombie point?

    The poor Iranian civilians

    Tis why the world rejoiced when the Twin Towers went down

    Who rejoiced? I certainly didn't, and I don't know anyone who did.

    You know the type. Those who somehow think they're tough, hard men, when they say such things on an internet forum. They're quite the opposite of course.

    I'd say it to your face bru

    The world did rejoice...inside all of us there was a feeling of 'thats what it feels like when terror comes to your doorstep, not nice is it?'

    The Yanks and a few other nations got too comfortable taking trouble to others...accept it

    This tough guy is getting his Apron on...I've got some cookin to do.
