yeah..... I tuned off half the sync on my iphone

the samsung is better simply as i uses universal usb connection, universal file formats etc.

I do remember the first iphone i got (4) and thinking right... ring tone and going WTF... you can't put a ring tone on this thing? no you have the "iphone sound" your text and emial and phone call has to say "i've an apple phone guys"

I have had that sync issue too.

I've also had problems with apple products where i didn't set up separate itunes accounts for kids and the thing started sharing photos off their ipods and phones to my phone and vice versa.

I'd take a photo someplace and they'd pop up on their phone.

now i had no problem as i'm clean living but i can imagine some on here would end up in court.

Have they sorted that yet, or is that still a thing with iPhones.

you like the screen quality when watching movies?

I think its the best selling point.

I've so far had no issues with samsung s6 since i got shut of apple iphone 5.

    ...................

I met a guy who ran his own company this year on business. he went and bought BOTH iphones 6 and 6 plus to see which was best and would not look twice as the s6.

    in short... i-tard.

    nope not sorted.

    they want to end flash.

when you've 18% of market (in fairness up from 15%) blocking your own growth is not wise.

Nokia are now 2% of market due to windows... bad move.. dead company.

78% are andriod it seems... I don't see apple growing market share any time soon here.

    ................................

finally note on iwatch... why are i watches not following the fundamental tenants of the watch market place... male and females wear watches differently.

I can see a star on the oscars carpet sporting an iwatch under his tux sleeve... but can you see a woman wearing her iwatch in her dress on the red carpet.

really not good... but i'm sure the are being "disruptive"

Yeah screen quality is excellent, I put the Avengers on there in 1080p and looks amazing!!

Yeah I-tards just need to be educated.
Most of it is just ignorance. I successfully converted my old boss at work. He had the iPhone 5 and was an I tard (has an iPad and whatnot), when his contract was up for renewal I told him to try the S6 edge and **** apple off and he was skeptical but did it as his provider agreed he could send it back within 28 days if he didnt like it.
He loves it and is now a Samsung groupie :)

What i don't get about this ******ed Iwatch is why people even would get one. It's basically your iphone with less functionality and you still have to keep your Iphone nearby to use it which is just ******ed.

For the amount you spend on an iWatch, you can get a proper Swiss watch - which looks far better. <ok>

The reason I have an iPhone stems from when I used to have a Blackberry, which I loved. I then took a bold move to the new touchscreen phone so I bought a Samsung (this was ages ago when they first came out) and it was awful. Hated it - interface was buggy, touchscreen wasn't responsive.

I think tried the iPhone and the touchscreen/interface was seamless.

I don't think the labels are really needed as much anymore to be honest. In the digital age they are more of an anchor that a sail.

Besides I don't see many poor starving rock stars. The business model is completely different than it was 20 years ago but there is still an excess of money floating around.

oh i dunno... you need mass market and labels can place you front and centre on tv etc.

you can be specialist and never be heard of.

how do you get 20k in a venue of only 500 have heard of you.

In the days when so much can be handled online, I think an agent could arrange that. Perhaps in part by hiring a marketing firm. No need for the whole label to be involved.

Give it 20 years and labels (as we know them) will be completely dead.

Major labels have money, marketing and connections. If you want to reach a certain size, you'll almost certainly need that. That doesn't have to come from labels, of course, but they're the ones with the power. I still agree that the relevance will continue to wane over time though.

I dunno... I think they have to change to be a mulit media label but really.... if you have talent how do you make it if there are no financial backers...

go on ellen like justin queeber.... what do you go do? america's got talent? you have to gig and get backing to grow. How will anyone get listerner ship if not for mass market and radio etc.

simon cowell's malarchy has all but killed off real talent doing it the right way and its all get known quick ****e these days... and its the louder and more obnoxious that get heard not the talent.

X Factor and all that **** makes me sick.
    It's all talentless knobs.
Yeah some of them can hold a note, but how many of them achieve anything meaningful in music.
    Leona Lewis and One Direction.
    That's about it.
Everyone else has either used it as a stepping stone, 15 minutes of fame so they can pursue their actual passion (Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon, Jedward), or have just disappeared into **** all (everyone else).

Some groups get a year or two of national fame like those black guys......whose name escapes me........
JLS thats it (took me a minute) and Little Mix the girl group.

What about all the other X factor winners, Alexandra Burke, Josh McElderry, Matt Cardle, Shane Ward, Leon Jackson, and many others.

Thats why, even if I don't like their music, or its not my thing, I can appreciate artists like Jessie J, Rita Ora, Joss Stone.
Especially Joss Stone, that woman is awesome. Talented, and totally uncompromising when it comes to her ethics and musical inclinations.

I don't think you need all the bureaucracy of a label to do marketing. Your agent can hire a marketing firm when you have a new song coming out.
