Aren't all new towns built just for that purpose? I wouldn't choose to live there myself but for youngun's there's a shed load to do.
MK is fine. Plenty of far worse places. Quick trains to London and other big cities, clean-ish, all the chain bars, clubs and restaurants.
Now Swindon is a proper ****hole. I was in Aldershot the other day. Not seen such a grim town in a while.
Hardest cities to navigate around if your not a local. Edinburgh has to be up there. ****ing nightmare that place.
Leeds and Sheffield for me, I get lost everytime I go to either. The former has a one way system that I’m certain is designed to see you drive back out of the ****hole in a ****ing loop.
Aldershot is probably one of the most prehistoric grounds you could ever visit. From memory in the middle of winter, you cross some field or park to get into the away stand or should i say open space, I'm not sure if toilets actually existed as the ground was just one big toilet with a burger van in the middle of them. I'm sure you get the picture. However, I'd still prefer it from some sterile ****e holes that you get today and at least you could stand the whole game.
Brum. That place is literally like a ****ing jumble of wires. Spaghetti junction is aptly named That said, there's an interchange in Los Angeles on the 110 with the 105 that is worse. Drove a ****ing 24ft shed RV around there trying to pick my way across 8 lanes of freeway traffic.
Yeah I loved the ground. Went to see my old local team, Borehamwood, there last week. As you say you walk through a park to the away end and then enter 1976.
