Morally indefensible, but realistically just opportunist political frenzy and media fodder because of who he is rather than what he's done.
Don't like the bloke (only from what I read and see) but he gets things done and that's what we need. I did initially think it best for him to go - either jumped or pushed - but I'm not so sure now.
Time to move on and looks like the cops think so too........

I agree it's about who he is rather than his misdemeanor. However, in his elevated position and involvement in devising the rules, he should have known better.
His arrogance knows no bounds, e.g. turning up 30 minutes late for his media meeting this week with the country sat in front of their TV's to hear his story. He thinks he is bomb proof and, in my view, knows where the bodies are buried and so has the dirt on Boris.
If Boris had any balls he should have sacked him when this came out.
He couldn't find anyone to care for his child within 10 miles or 20 minutes of his house? Really?
The longer this goes on, more elements of doubt in his story are coming out. I doubt the police will take any formal action over his sight seeing or not seeing trip. Boris, as usual, wants to move on. Trouble is the majority of the country don't. If just before an election this would be a topic to lose it on. Bet Boris would have dumped him then.
All that apart, no strong feelings.
