He is referencing the 1968 Theft Act. You are talking about the act of dishonestly appropriating something.....which is the definition of theft in the Theft Act.....so of course copyright infringement is theft

The Gowers review recommended the maximum prison term for online copyright infringement be 10 years. The maximum sentence for theft under the theft act is 7 years.....So Sam......copyright infringement in the eyes of the law is much much worse.

    essentially Sam......stop talking ****e.

I do know if they made Hash legal they would be able to tax it and make a fortune for the country in revenue. As I also said, I don't steal it nor steal to pay for it nor claim the dole to pay for my habit. A HUGE point in my favour.

What would happen if hash was legalised and someone offered you some on the black market at 30% less than the market value?

Would you say "no thanks, I'm as honest as the day is long" and then grass him to the polis?

    Not that old tosh.

Crims don't make fortunes from Hash. There's more cash in smuggling tobacco.

No, but the money generated by hash sales funds criminal gangs that cost the tax-payer a fortune.

Not everyone on the dole wants to be there, it saved me when I graduated, and trust it's far from being comfortable money to live on. Earning £50 extra a week wouldn't do **** all, you're not even taxed til you earn 10k.

Fuck people that claim incapacity benefits and work, but if you're on the dole short term and can earn a bit extra on the side to make sure you're not ****ed if you get a big bill, what's the problem?

It isn't legal though Dev. Many millions ARE spent trying to stop the trade in Hash and other drugs. Your hash habit, and that of others costs probably more than people doing the double. Why not stop smoking it until/if it beomes legal?

How someone who pays taxes to finance the benefits system thinks it's okay for people to cheat it and work on the side is beyond me.
