The Penfold stuff is true, new owners were prepared to try and find him a new role within the club and he said no. He was also supposed to be in situ till the end of the Jan window and again asked to leave earlier as he believed he would be blamed should anything go wrong by the supporters.

It’s fair enough then. He didn’t just stick around for the money like someone else. So hats off to him.

Everton are playing worse than us and we're second bottom, they concede for fun and look crap up front.

They'll be ok though.
 
Rafa seeing off Brands is hilarious. I bet he doesn't allow another DOF to come in above him unless he gets to select him. Two very different footballing philosophies I suppose. Brand made that clear in his statement.

Everton look a bit disjointed from top to bottom. Nothing seems in sync and it just feels like the owners don't really know football. You are looking for clarity and clear direction. They seem to be jumping all over the shop.
