They are still light up top. When aguero gets injured, and he will, they no longer have dzeko. Bony and sterling are their back ups... Neither will fire them to the title. We also got 4 very good deals done early on. Its a massive let down that we are a day before the window closes and seemingly selling everyone yet buying nobody though. Apparently both Martial and Berihino will be signed. Berihino looks OK but I have literally no idea who the other guy is. He must be a step up on Hernandez who let's be honest, was embarrassing the other night.
According to who? Got to say, I think Berahino would be a good signing but he's a good ten million over priced. Bottom line is, we lack pace and he's got that. I'm not going to comment on the other bloke, no idea who he is or anything about him. We also really need to get De Gea's head sorted and in the team as a matter of urgency.
In case you haven't noticed Aguero hasn't been firing or contributing many goals at all and City are still smashing teams apart. As for Bony being a backup, he's still far better than any of Uniteds Strikers.... and their midfield scores far more than yours
LVG/Woodward were too busy spending a 1/4 billion on midfielders and bypassing them with long balls to converted target man Fellaini
From another thread: I must say that IF it is true then the De Gea is a cracking deal for us. We've always been ****ing doormats. For once we get something out of a bad situation. £29m for a GK on the last year of his contract and a good better than average GK in return to boot, I never thought Woodward could have pulled it off. Credit where credit is due.
Just a shame that the money has been thrown at the most bizarre transfer deal since Andy Carroll signed for the Dippers.
I've never heard of the player. Not even indirectly or read about him. But let's give him the benefit of the doubt
Hadnt noticed. They are still weak up top. In fact all the top sides are. Not one has a strike force to put the hebegebes on you.
You're right, Carroll was less bizarre! Anyway, let's hope it turns out well. If it doesn't it will be a comical stain on LVG's career.
I honestly think that the Tony Martin signing will be the moment that I consider United to have jumped the shark. It didn't go well for the Fonz.
