I like you mate to be honest! You have opinions and arn't afraid to say what you really think. If you look around it's not very often I like anything so my hats off to you.

 

Is the transfer window even open yet? I know things like Chelsea going for Cahill tend to be publicised early (though it seems that's far from a done deal), but by not declaring our interests we don't attract the richer clubs to poach them before we get them signed. N'zogbia and Ruiz are both examples of last minute attempts, but we weren't willing to pay over the odds for them, our typical transfer signings these days tend to be unpublicised prior and announced when we've got them. We were linked with Carlton ruddy Cole by the papers but signed Ba. Tiote, Cabaye et al were signed quietly with no foreshadowing from Pardew or Hughton. It seems to work.

 

I hope we are just cooling things. However we seem to always rush in and panic and offer stupid money for players we dont even want. Nzogbia went up to £12m. Ruiz was £10mil at least. Ridiculous.
