Not that fussed to be honest as he had the potential to be a half decent player but seemed to be injured far more than he played. Don’t blame him if someone else wants to offer his wage demands as it’s a short shelf life for a pro footballer.
Perfect example of the mercenary world of football. No objections to the lad earning a fair wage, but he took a good wage for a number of seasons while we looked after his best welfare; while he, and his advisors, planned a money-laden exit. Just taken him off my Christmas card list!!
My personal opinion is that Robinson is a decent young defender. But he isn't the best defender I've seen at QPR in recent times. It would have been good to keep him but, on the other hand, there are other defenders who will be as good as him. He's had the occasional howler of a game. It's a loss but not the biggest. Not as big as losing Smithies.
