I knew it wasn't real Patty, you've said before that you don't go often when staying in Hull so there's no chance of you travelling from Texas.

 

Why do you, allegedly, keep coming home? You're not married you've got no girlfriend or kids and in your late thirties. You constantly state you want to live there permanently. Whats stopping you?

 

family, mate. my dad is in his late 60's, mum is approaching 60, gran is in her 90's.
I kinda wanna spend time with em before they die.

Thing is leaving Hull results in one feeling a little like Orpheus, forever drawn back towards the Underworld whilst trying to glimpse Eurydice.


I'm guessing that someone with the obvious classical education of Patty feels this way too.

 

Either that or his mam wont let him ride his trike past the end of his street.

 

I wouldn't go as far as to call Ull part of the Underworld, But a glimpse at the rest of globe does hold a certain fascination.
