It ALL depends on whether RVP stays fit. We know he's prone to injury, but if (on this rare occasion) he can last the whole season, then he'll probably out-do Ba.

Ba will be up there though certainly (presuming he stays fit too, of course).

I think he just finds his name fun to say. But hey! If it means he's asking more about Ba than Rooney, I consider it a victory.

I have a feeling Demba will score more than Aguero. He plays a lot more as an attacking midfielder now, similar to Rooney. I think RVP will win it though, the guy is class.

I think that if the club does the right thing and signs a quality striker in January, that may dilute Demba's result come the end of the season, much as someone was saying about Manure and City strikers. If we're skinflints again and put him in the position where there's no-one else in contention he'll either get the golden boot or **** up his knee in about April and break all our hearts. :(

Van Persie will win it if he stays fit and Demba will be runner up if his dodgy knee dosnt explode.

He certainly has a shot but I think he'd be relying on RVP being injured. No shame in that though! If they both stay fit from now until the end of the season, I'd expect RVP to outscore Ba, regardless of the ACON. RVP is simply unstoppable this year. The ACON certainly makes RVP's position stronger but I'd fancy him anyway. However they both have a history with injuries so anything can happen.

The fact it is even discussed is what makes me happy!

I reckon Ba might be able to do it if Van Persie gets injured and Ba doesn't

Little off topic but... Demba Ba is the top-scoring Premier League player of all-time with two letters in his surname. The top three-letter scorer is Flo, four letters is Cole, five letters is Henry, six letters is Fowler and seven letters is, of course, Shearer. Also seen on SSN today hes got the best Goals per minute ratio in PL history (min 20 goals) at 105 mins/goal.
