Woody, I fully intend to cheer the team with vocal support as loud as the next R's fan. As you may gather from my name I am not local to LR but intend to follow at as many northern away games as possible, the first being Everton and i have my eye on Stoke , Wigan , Blackburn and the like (don't think i'll be able to get man u/liverpool tickets not being an ST holder). The away games are traditionally where support is most vocal and i hope that at HQ fans will make themselves heard loudly as well both in backing the team and in berating the board. I don't wish to be doom and gloom and would like nothing more than to go into the season brimming with confidence at our chances of staying up. I hear what your saying regarding good team spirit, although this may be diminished through discrepancies over promotion bonuses, uncertainty over NW's position and the constant will he/won't he over the boy Taraabt. I still feel we desperately need to bring some Premiership quality into the side or else our season could be done before it starts, all bar the shouting!
Well said Woody! The team as long as they battle and show fight will get massive support, it's the Goons who'll get the backlash...
Good God, I can always rely on you lot to cheer me up! This is the place to be. Let's live it. Let's wait until we've played the first few matches before deciding that we are relegated. We have a great manager, and weren't we discussing just last week that we did actually have some decent players? We have a tremendous team spirit, some of those players have waited all their career to play in the Premier League, they aren't going to give up now, we aren't going to lose through lack of effort. Finally, it is up to us to give them the best vocal support we can. We can barrack the board as much as we like before the matches and at half time, but when the players are on the field we need to give them 100% support. WE ARE QPR
I can understand where you are coming from, but there is only one place to be and that is the Premier League
