Utter BS? I think not. If that's what you believe, I can only take it that you are speaking as an Englishman and not someone who has been on the receiving end. As to the tax claim, you pay huge amounts of tax to keep your own country in services, not particularly Scotland. I too pay huge amounts - in fact if you care to check, you'll find that Scottish taxpayers' contribution to UK tax revenue is 2% higher per capita than that of their English counterparts. Add to that the fact that all corporation tax paid in the UK is classified as 'London' revenue, regardless of where businesses may operate from, then ask yourself "Who is subsidising whom?"
