Going on Evans statement in the season ticket renewals pack he saying he's not going to spend anything if it blocks a young players progress, oh well that clears up any lingering doubts about the transfer policy.
It will be a shame if he doesn't allow Lambert sufficient funds. I've followed Norwich on the basis of buying my tickets on an ad hoc arrangement. Next season there probably won't be any available and as I live equidistant between the two clubs I will probably come and watch Ipswich in the same way. It would be good to see another promotion season.
I have no confidence we will get promoted first time around but I do think if the management is right we do have a squad that should finish at the right end of the table. My worry is we won't keep the squad together and once again trade down. Also, I look at Lambert and Stoke, Stoke must have expected Lambert would guide them straight back up and I wonder if Lambert has it in him.
Not me you'll ****ing walk that tin pot division under Lambo. Get rid of all the dead wood and come back stronger .
Despite the sour grapes coming from our end I still think Lambert is a good manager and I'm pretty sure that he will get you at least to the play offs next year.
At least we have avoided the banana skin of playing Colchester. They will be sending us their cast offs soon!
Can’t underestimate the importance of the Leeds win for raising the morale over the summer. I would say I feel better about our chances than I did last week. I think the early results are going to be huge for building momentum or shattering confidence.
With season tickets narrowly missing the discount threshold but sales up 15% year on year, we are about to find out whether the owner has really learned anything at all.
