That would be any normal person but what we see with woke is something very different. Hatred of our Country, its history our culture. No coincidence South Bristol that voted for Brexit gets caned for it while woke is decolonising our City its names spending millions and covering it in the woke colours of LGBTQ++ or whatever it is this week while taking away even our parks from the non woke South Bristol too white??? communities.
If you are an adherent of an ideology that seeks to define and divide society by identity you would be.
Your one of those woke anti racists who think you fight racism by being racist? where people are not treated equally because of their skin ????
I’d like to think we’re all anti-racist. Unfortunately people often aren’t treated equally because of the colour of their skin.
Unfortunately people often aren’t treated equally because of the colour of their skin and woke politics. Economic inequality in Bristol is worst in areas that are working class and white. People are really struggling. Thats all about class. Are we going to have class based quotas to improve peoples prospects who are getting discriminated against?? Nah. Not a fight for the woke that one white people have privilege.
Generally they do. That can be true and there also be poor white people. I didn’t just mean financially either.
Generally they dont. The largest and poorest of Bristol are white. We also have the worst facilities and health. White privilege? Its divisive woke crap.
84% of Bristol is white so logically they’re going to make up a large share of the poorest. I’m going to go out on a limb and say the average black person isn’t wealthier than the average white person in the area but wealth isn’t really what white privilege is about. If a guy named Bob and a guy named Mohammed with identical CVs apply for a job, Bob is more likely to get an interview. That is changing over time, thankfully.
South Bristol is more than 84% white. Within South Bristol are Bristol's poorest areas. A average person with a BS13 (With South Bristol) postcode will be less wealthy than averages across the City. If your called Mark and Steve and come from BS13 you are less likely again to get that interview. The above is not an example about race, its about class, socio economics and wealth.
Yes. Class is the biggest divide in the country. I just think it’s not wrong to acknowledge the role race plays as well.
Many things. I don’t think they’re born cleverer but some Asian families will prioritise education more from an early age than the average person.
Yes some Asians. And if we look at stats there are demographic differences. Asians from differing areas of Asian group outcomes are uneven. This privilege is not driven by race.
Yes, I’m not disagreeing. However there are numerous studies which have shown that Mohammed and Bob applying for the same job with the same CV don’t have the same chance of getting the job so there’s not equal opportunities as a result of race.
And country To woke, open border supporters who because of their immaturity, lack of life experience and liberal views will vote Labour in local and national elections These are calculated and deliberate actions of a madman
Personally I think it’s not a mature decision to vote for the people who have overseen 13 years of declining living standards, high inflation and low growth but I guess that’s my immaturity showing.
Irrespective of ability, experience and suitability for the job, my money would be on Mohammed getting the job over Bob ten times out of ten
What studies ? When ? Using what measurements ? In a country that has over the last couple of years openly discriminated against white people applying for jobs, including the likes of the armed services
