Dodged bullets?

Bit of a controversial one but..... Danny Ings.

Might be early days but when he picked up that long term injury at Liverpool I suddenly realised his recent record of bad injuries. Feel sorry for the guy but feel it could have been a bullet dodged:

  • 15/16 - Cruciate Ligament Rupture - 230 days (42 games)
  • 14/15 - Hamstring Injury - 35 days (5 games)
  • 13/14 - Torn Ankle Ligament - 24 days (5 games)
Are worse injury records but hints at being a risk.

Almost every striker people wanted us to buy over the last ten years qualifies....as would some of the ones we actually bought

We don't dodge bullets, we get hit by every single ****ing one.

Jack Rodwell
Adam Johnson
John O'Shea
Jeremain Lens
Fabio Borini

Is leaving out Kaboul a mistake or has he improved? Hope it's the latter, he's a good player that's been ruined by injuries.

On a technicality, Stephane Dalmat: we were his fifth club in five years when he was loaned in, which should've served as a warning sign in itself, yet when we loaned him in there was the carrot of the move being made permanent - until he punched Jamie O'Hara in training, which saw his loan cancelled ASAP.

To my knowledge, at least 3 players punched Jamie O'Hara on the training ground.
Is that just at Spurs? He's had 8 clubs in total. That's a lot of punches!
Actually seems to have sorted himself out a bit this season. Playing well for Fulham.
