Of course it was also just a coincidence that it was a black Watford player that a Millwall supporter abused when he ran on the pitch at The Den last season

Or was it the fact that Lloyd Doyley was performing a "****er" gesture to the supporters. I don't know if your black, white or purple with red stripes, but your incredible level of ignorance makes me want to attack you! <laugh>

You lot really have to get off your PC bandwagon and open your eyes. I have seen plenty of black Millwall fan's at the Den not to mention a growing majority of our team are not white British. In the days of prevalent racism in society Millwall, along with other clubs full of working class British males angry with a lack of prospects and flaws in their society's turned on "foreign" members of their communities. Millwall have worked harder than any club to stamp out racism in football, and it would be nice if numpties like you would show us some respect.

So Watford council has been labelled racist for cutting funding to three particular groups out of a total of thirteen. One is a Islamic organisation (hardly racist as a Moroccan Muslim is a different type of person when compared to a Philipino Moslem or even a British Moslem, you might get away with religious bigotry on this one), one a multicultural centre (surely multicultural includes everybody, so obviously no racism there) and the final one is the Watford African Caribbean Association which may illicit a legitimate claim of racism.

Now don't get me wrong here but surely an association geared for one part of the community is by its very nature biased in some way, shape or form; whether it is a sports club, a social organisation or even a political party. Also are there any other groups, like Polish ex-Servicemen or Ukrainians, who receive council support and have they had it cut?

I worry that in the wake of the conviction of Gary Dobson and David Norris for the murder of Stephen Lawrence, quite rightly in my opinion as you cannot go around killing people for any reason, the racism card will be trotted out as an easy option to win an argument when it involves a minority group, with public opinion as it currently is to even try to argue a point when the racist/racism card has been used will be exceedingly difficult. Even the MP Diane Abbott has been called to task for using it, and that by a Moslem MP too.

Anyway back to Millwall. I am sure that the Lions do have their share of idiot supporters, just like all clubs. The unfortunate thing for the club and their right minded fans is that in the past Millwall has been synonymous with football violence and with current standards of journalism the easy cliche will always be used. The worst behaviour I have seen was from Arsenal fans who got into the Watford fans when we visited Highbury in November 1982, strangely a club that doesn't have a reputation for that sort of thing.

Well said zen <applause> I'm aware that Millwall have some troublemakers, but I've never experienced trouble from them. Just as I'm aware that plenty of other clubs, including our own, have their share too, some worse & some not as worse - in fact the only clubs I can recollect having no problems at are Barrow, Workington and Hartlepool. Like you, I have bad memories of Arsenal - a home match in the late 60's where bottles of acid were lobbed at us over the barrier - but by far the worst was at Charlton in the late 70's where their 'fans' attempted to throw us out of a moving train after the match. A long time ago thankfully, and I suspect that many of the perpetrators are now physically in the same state as their brains were back then - dead.

Some people have hardly painted themselves well here.

Still....this just seems like the 606 days when certain Watford fans were trolling other teams forums. There's no need for it. You can't blame Millwall the club for any of this, and obviously not all of the fans are rotten....perhaps just more than most? e.g. at we don't have any people on our board who are this abusive....or we don't go to away games and throw chairs into the family section....but there's no point bringing it up with Millwall fans, it will go down badly every time.

Also I agree with Zen Guerilla on that Watford council "racists" matter.

Does that include running on the pitch and abusing them? Or do you just run on the pitch and abuse Black players?

Nope, we even abused the most pale man on the whole planet!

Next idiotic theory for me to disperse?

Funny how I started this war of words with the intention of providing anti-hooliganism thoughts but, have had to use an example of hooliganism in order to prove my point...

Why is this article even on the Millwall board? Norris and Dobson were both Charlton fans, were even banned rom The Valley.

Go and give them some jip about it.

Or is this because our centre forward broke a watford fan's jaw last week?

It is funny that Millwall get called scum and racist for sticking up for their fans, yet a watford fan sticks up for his council's racist motives and it is just over-looked.

What do the Watford fans think of Diane Abbott's Comments? I bet you think they are OK too???

I think this can easily be summed up.

Millwall supporters are no less racist than any other football club. They are, however, just awful people.

I've never heard anyone at Millwall sing Glory glory Super Millwall or any version of the Chas 'n Dave song about Ossys knob, i have never heard Tottenham fans singing No one Likes Us either, so what song are you talking about?

How boring your sad life must be - I suggest to brighten it up, you could take a bunch of banana's to Vicarage Road (save 1 for Elton) and lob the rest on the pitch <cheers>
