Blackpool has always been full of (drunk) Scots when I've visited. No wonder he seems at homer there :)

So if he deserves his chance, who do we drop for him to get that chance? You seem to be full of him getting a game, but you are not forthcoming on who will drop to the bench for him to get a game? Also he came off at Blackpool as he was knackered, so he doesn't have it in him to play a full game.

Best bit of business we could do with Dobbie (especially if Blackpool beat West Ham, which i think they will) is have him back at us for the first half of next season and then loan him with a large fee to a club who look like they may make the play offs. He is 29 now so we may have another 3 seasons of doing this...we would make more than selling him in the summer and we would have him as cover for the first half of the season :)

Good plan - 6 play-off winners medals would be quite an achievement <ok>

I'd like to keep Dobbie around for next few seasons in case we get relegated , so that would work within jackdan's plans .

if (and god forbid it doesnt happen) we get relegated, then as Cracker has alluded to, he is a quality championship player, then it would be 6 play off winners medals and twice with 2 clubs.

Alternatively, if people are not happy with the have a half season loan to rake in the cash suggestion then if Blackpool win then surely he would be classed as a Wembley lucky charm so we keep him in bubblewrap and roll him out when we play at Wembley next season in a cup semifinal/final win-win :)

knackered's old alias on the BBC606 forum. Some of us have stayed true to our usernames and many have attempted to do a cardiff type rebrand!!

Watched the match yesterday, and impressed with blackpool, they passing and attacking flair. Really wanted to see them beat brum, and also hammers in final, and get promoted ........................UNTIL!

I saw that massive blue shirt sponsor logo - WONGA!

you say Cardiff sold their sole to the devil - I would rather be sponsored by somali pirates than that dispicable excuse for a business (along with the other ones praying on the daytime tv helpless).

Whilst being sponsored by them - hope they get royally hammered, and relegated for the next few seasons.

    How low has society sunk.

Think these pay day loan companies should be outlawed, I have seen on CAG forum how much low life barrel scraping scumbags they are!

Still we are sponsored by a gambling company how many have had lives ruined by that ? Glass and green houses I think! Still hope Blackpool goes up.

I see betting companies as more aligned to pubs and tobacco retailers tbh. They dont offer handouts at absolutely extortionate rates - there is no guarantee of cash with a bookmaker - and no debt (unless you borrowed to bet) to pay back. betting is more of an addiction issue - whereas these payday loan companies pray on people who cannot afford to borrow in the first place - leading them down a one way path.

IMO rates should be capped by the government - certainly no more than 50% (which is extremely high anyway) - dont want the risk - get out of the market and crawl back under another stone.

Legalised loan sharkes - but for your team to be sponsored by them - I certainly would dissassociate myself from my team if that were to happen.

Can see where you coming from, but having a relative who gambled until the day he passed away and lost everything and certainly couldn't afford to gamble. But the bookmakers were happy to take his money even when they knew he was on his arse.

So there is no point moralising as this is business and will be ignored.
