    No as I'd prefer not to be worried about possible relegation than playing in the Europa League. The only chance of us being able to compete in both would be if we invested more in the playing squad, and we all know that's not going to happen with Ashley in charge.

    Yes, it generally does.

    We didn't nearly get relegated because of the Europa League.

    Yes - but with the current Europa format we shouldn't play ANY first team players in the group stages. However, the format is the real problem. Stop the Champion's League dropouts from entering in the later stages, and make it a home-and-away knock-out competition.
