From what I've seen of Kane he's more of a Sheringham-type player than a lead the line striker. Got a goal and won a penalty on the weekend. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17722334#asset Nice touch and finish.
Agree to disagree I guess. I do feel that while he's in form now he looks decent, but he's too limited to be a 'top' striker. Your dream signing would be Llorente or Cavani I guess? Both can hold up the ball and have individual technique. Not much sell on value on Llorente though, which might influence the shrewd Levy.
You don't have to agree If we all knew the fortunes of players (good and bad) then signing players would be easy. To take us onto the next level, its not about having one star player or that dream signing, its more about the mentality of the team but of course i wouldn't moan if we signed Llorente or Cavani.
Somebody calculated that Llorente is on £100k per week at Bilbao, which puts him above our price bracket anyway - whilst we're probably a season too late to make a play for Cavani. Kane has a future, but not leading the line - he's more suited to the Sheringham role. He can score, but isn't an out-and-out striker - Coulibaly could be, but it'll be a couple of seasons before he'll be getting any opportunities.
