Pointless going up to The Prem with Bruce as manager as we'd come straight back down again. I'd rather City stay in The Championship for another 1 or 2 seasons under a new manager who tries to play attacking, entertaining football (rather than dull, sideways football) ,who once he gets us up to The Prem can then keep us there. What I want is to be exicted by City again, to see fast passing to the strikers (plural) who then hit the back of the net. Strikers who score goals with their heads. Strikers who score from corners & free kicks. A midfield who play balls on the floor for the strikers to run onto. Wingers who look up & cross accurately onto the head of the striker running into the box ie all the things City don't do under Bruce. I'm sure there must be a manager out there that could do that ? (trouble is will the Allams have a clue where to look ?)
I hate the loss of the concessions, it's a typically cynical business move of the Allams. Is it meant to piss the fan-base off, no, I don't believe it is, it is just a consequence of their rather strange business strategy. Money talks and plenty might moan, but many will take whatever option is open to them; some will save cash, some will spend more, but they will join the scheme. Some will have to move and they will do that also, they will make new friends and enjoy their experience. Demonstrations will, in my opinion, be futile, the general fan-base just isn't interested enough. Time will pass and it will settle down, seasons will pass and folk will readjust their experience, Hull City will continue to evolve. Some folk, more folk, will decide to leave, they will have their own reasons, but their leaving will not cause a stir in Allam Towers. The only really effective protest is a mass boycott of the scheme and that simply won't happen when a day ticket will be so much more expensive than a scheme ticket. I would never, ever wish for us to lose a game. Further Championship football will be a real financial challenge for the Allam's, promotion would not be. I think they will sell when their boxes are ticked and that might be a long way off.
We've done this to death, there are loads of other managers out there we could get in, look back through the forum and you'll see myself and others have listed them on numerous occasions.
Not a single one was Egyptian. I mentioned Bob Bradley, who has managed Egypt in the past, but he's American You're the second person to say that, is this some sort of tag I've been given whereby every link I give is Egyptian based? You not confusing me with that King Tut bloke? Or Apth? Doesn't even sound like Sterling Archer.
That isn't representative of my question, nor is it an answer. In order to make it simple for you, how are the Allam's worse than Fish or Lloyd - chairman whose rank behaviour didn't stop OP attending?
Please close this thread as this post brings in racism, ethnicity, religion etc... And is stupid and also shows a lack of awareness of the correct use of apostrophes.[/QUOTE] that doesn't constitute an answer. I'm genuinely interested why some consider the Allams the worst owners we have had - so bad that it is used as an excuse as to why some people no longer attend. I've known much, much worse, is all. You're a bunch of girlie-men drama queens is what I think, but am happy to be proved wrong.
Why would it be representative of your question? It wasn't a response to your question. In order to make it simple for you, if somebody quotes another's post when posting & that quoted post was not made by yourself then the response will not, generally, be an answer to a completely unconnected, albeit equally stupid, post you made earlier in the thread. Idiot.
The Allams are FAR worse than those you mention solely because of their divisive nature, our other owners galvanised support against them, this pair of ****s are just poisonous.
You could well be right Fez Iv had fans tell me they are NOT renewing No way are they renewing Yesterday they told me they ARE renewing Even ones who have to move seat Even ones who have to pay alot more Depressing really I used my application form for confetti yesterday I 100% wont be joining But i will still go to away games
You are right Stirling, it has been done to death, but never reaching any conclusion, as it is all speculation. It is a fact that most new managers at most clubs however do not come good and get sacked within 12-24 months. So a change is always a risk. IMO Bruce would be hard to replace with any certainty of success.
That depends surely on anyones interpretation of success… is success making the play offs having been in pole position… only if we complete the job IMO… other than that from where we were I'd call it abject failure...
I can't speak for the OP, but for me it's very simple. In previous years under the bad owners you mentioned, Hull City felt like it belonged to me, it was my Club, it needed me and I supported it through thick and thin. However, now the Club does not feel like it belongs to me, it belongs to the Allams, it does not need my support or loyalty, neither does it deserve it. That's how it feels. The Allams are the worse owners simply because they are the only ones that have turned me off going to games.
