People don't give a **** that our attendance is going to fall even further?

They're saying that the 58% adult pass holders will all see a reduction, but that assumes all adult pass holders don't go with kids, which is obviously bollocks (many of them go with OAPs as well).

There'll be plenty of people who're better off and will just sign up, but there'll still be thousands that won't and they will see a fall in sales.

Getting back to the Premier League and replacing the lost fans with Premier League fans is the only way they'll mask the drop.

Can't see how that is possible with the withdrawal of concessions. Also, does that mean 70% COULD be better off on their calculations if they moved from where they were to another seat they might not like as much? Of course some would benefit but still can't see how that figure would stack up with all the concessions going.

Don't forget the 15 to 20 per cent fiddling the tickets. At those prices they will go.
I don't like it but I'm moving seat and saving 150 quid on this season. More if I go into another zone. A lot will be thinking that.

All those new PL fans will of course no doubt improve the atmosphere just like dispersing the West Stand Upper fans around the stadium supposedly would.
The proof of the pudding will be in the eating. I think it is a fair bet that if we are still in the Championship that's season tickets sales will drop, no concessions will mean pay on the gate numbers will plummet and our embarrassingly small crowds will get smaller.
Maybe some clubs and cities deserve top flight football more than Hull does.

I have no young children so should I choose to start attending home matches I could, by moving into the cheaper areas, save a fortune on my last two upper west passes ........ but I won't, my personal stance is becoming ever more entrenched, my ambivalence towards the Allams has grown into an unhealthy loathing, I hate how the club is tearing itself apart, yet again we have an Allam led situation of fan turning against fan, in my 50 years of support I honestly feel there's never been a worse time to be a Hull City supporter, Fish, Lloyd, Buchanan et al are bumbling amateurs compared to this pair of ****s.

Agree. What makes it more profound is that the last 4 years should have been the best & most enjoyable time to support the club.

Europe, Cup Final, Wembley, PL, Promotion - they've managed to turn our most successful spell into the worse time for supporters.

    ****s.

The sad fact is TWS gates wouldn't plummet. They have "fans" all over the place, including Hull and East Yorkshire who would deludedly think the glory days were coming again and sell out their season passes. The season they got relegated they averaged 37,000. A couple of seasons ago when they had that league cup run they had over 70,000 applications for tickets for the home leg of the game they got knocked out in,
Wednesday gates would go up if prices were right. They have same problem in that regard as we have. Difference is they have ambitious plans including filling in the corners of their stadium which will increase capacity and what is already a good atmosphere when full. I know a Wednesday fan and he bemoans the lack of atmosphere compared to years ago. Like us they have had officious stewarding and policing and banning orders handed out.
Still impressive to see over 40,000 turning up in Sheffield every week when one of the teams is in the third tier. Especially when you consider Sheffield has more people on minimum wage than any other city.
They also have a rugby club which after 5 years had won at Wembley as many times as our two clubs have in nearly 90 years.

Bein is becoming part of the main Fox Sports subscription for no extra charge! :) So any games televised over there for the Championship + any 3pm games picked for the International Broadcast will get shown over here on the main channels. :)

Funny thing was during the Mike Smith years, the first ever time in Div 4, the empty ground as the people of Hull were egg chasing or finding excuses why they were too busy to go, then the ones you mention those few of us who still went regarded it as our club and felt a connection to it and would defend them against all the sneerers who had a go. Sadly that is not the case nowadays and a lot feel no connection any longer.

I'm not sure about the deals outside Australia, I just know it's being made mainstream over here.

The season they got relegated came on the back of 5 successive seasons of qualification for either UEFA or the CL.
70,000 applications? Big time charlie fans. Unfortunately many clubs have them, which is why many non PL clubs take surprisingly large numbers to Wembley. Lot of rubberneckers and big game charlies see it as a 'must go' game.
    Leeds only averaged 13, 259 in 1986.

I am quite aware what Leeds averaged in 1986. The sad fact is they have a lot larger fan base than we have ((so they should being the largest single city club) but their fan base extends far from Leeds which makes them more attractive to investors than we are. Not to mention Leeds is seen as a more attractive city to be involved in with more going on.
Big time Charlie fans? We have plenty. Lots of fans claiming they couldn't afford season passes or tickets for home games suddenly finding hundreds to go to Wembley twice in a few weeks. And laughably moaning it was unfair they couldn't have an extra ticket for their lass who fancied a week in London or for their dad, uncle, brother or mate who didn't usually go to City but fancied seeing them in a Cup Final. Others moaning because they couldn't get exactly the same seat for the final as for the semi-final, ignoring the fact there are considerably less available tickets. Good job we didn't have a different end or they would have had a nervous breakdown.
