I can take a lot but have my boyhood hero subjected to such lack of respect. I expect an apology for the old bastards whose life was influenced by Waggy. BTW City it was Wagstaff not Wagstaffe.
If it's genuine, there's no excuse for that sign. How many people would have viewed it between concept and production?
I guess it was just me that initially assumed it was meant to be Viggo not Waggy. Having said that, it has to be Waggy as you can't miss him off that sort of shortlist. Hold on a moment ... Viggo Wagstaff!! What a great player he was.
Not at all. I only saw the Wiggo bit. The rest I didn't really pay attention to. Wish I was as attentive as you.
See Waggy's' riding his push-hog near Hull soon http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Watc...ll-City-Road/story-26411800-detail/story.html
He's popping down the road tomorrow @ 4:30 to have a look http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cycling/32756622
The lack of respect shown to our former players and to the history of the club is a total embarrassment. We shown respect to the untimely death of a player who once played against us for three minutes but totally ignore equally untimely deaths of our own ex players who clocked up hundreds of appearances for the club.
