Do you miss BBC 606?

I don't miss BBC 606 at all. Other than the mentioned "Match thread" I can't see anything that 606 did better... We've made it to the 21st Century!

 

Agree with Jager but there's enough on here to keep me occupied

 

cant say i ever posted on 606.This site however seems to have everyhing we need for getting a lively debate or just updates on player/club ongoings

 

I don't, besides the Bardiff fans are still here and it's good to get on their nerves every once in a while

 

They seem to be really pissed off with me at the moment pmsl, it's been a load of fun sitting out in the sun on the laptop watching the kids play and having a barbecue cooked for me , oh having a cold one as well

 

I miss Dai and his comedy value

Agree 100% Mabon - was a bit peed off when 606 closed but this site is much better - not a prolific poster but read the threads at least once a day

 

yeah i seen that that thread with about 200 posts on it, they seem pissed off that you keep posting

 

The other one had over 300 posts lol

 

best thing for me is that i can post in my afternoon and not have to wait until after i have gone to bed

 

Don't miss the forum itself but I do regret it closing like it did.

The biggest drawback now is that as someone who used to post on multiple sports/teams forums on 606 many of the groups of posters I came to know and like/hate have ended up on other forums. Most of the best Swans posters have all come here and as that's my main focus on 606 I came too. I do miss some of the posters from Snooker, F1, Cricket and we don't even have a shooting section. But I don't have the time/inclination to sign up to every 606 replacement.

It's a shame that there wasn't one simple replacement rather than a dozen.
