If he'd smacked him cos he'd actually played Phil '****' Collins I'd have a grudging admiration for him.

Too right. I only get "involved" when watching a TV match if its one of our rivals and we need them to lose. "Cheering" another team is out of order though

There are two Arsenal fans at work, fans<laugh>. They're brothers, and the torn loyalty they feel, now they face their home town club in an FA cup final, is plain to see. It's hilarious, they're just too stubborn to admit they actually want City to win it.

"Well iv'e supported them all my life" is the same old excuse you hear from, Hull born and bred Liverpool, Manure, White ****e fans.

Too stubborn to admit they made a silly error,as a child, and are still too childish to admit it. These people will never feel what we do,when we attend games, will never feel it in their hearts the way we do,and as they get older, i know they sense that. I almost feel sorry for them....

Edit: Just scrolled up and read Twf's post, it's almost identical to mine. Oh well....

I walked onto Anlaby Rd at around 2 this afternoon, and there wasn't a Hull FC shirt or jacket to be seen....

Then I realised,Liverpool were playing on the telly.

Paddy Power has unveiled a David Moyes ‘tribute’ statue at Anfield ahead of Liverpool’s home time with Chelsea. The bronze statue has been placed in front of the ground for Liverpool fans to get pictures with a reads ’David Moyes - For services to Liverpool Football Club’.

Silly **** Souness is at it as well.

Nearly crying saying Man City don't look or play like Champions and that they should have been getting chance after chance against the likes of Palace if they were worthy champions. Does the tit know anything about football?

Boo f**king hoo, go and fetch your teddy out of the pram.

Grow your tache back and man up ya great big fairy.

Man City never got out of second gear because they didn't have too. Why expend energy at this stage of the season when you don't have too.

****ing Souness. What a ****. I thought he must've died anyway; seems only a few short years ago that he was in the frame every time a PL club manager's job came up, despite having done **** all except oversee things at Rangers when it was their turn to win a few titles.

The ones that piss me off are the die hard Hull FC fans that then make out they are Liverpool die hards aswell. I just don't get that. I've got loads of them as Facebook "friends". I'm sick of seeing them spew out their **** every week. In fact I'm gonna go get rid of them all. They are only kept from the lowest of the low by Hull FC supporting Leeds fans!

There's a family go in pub with their Leeds shirts on when City play. Husband, wife, brother sister, son and daughter, so two of them. They stand like meerkats, expecting a reaction, but most just ignore them in the same way you do people with any form of disability. The only people that talk to them are the local man U, Liverpool, FC types and they sit trying to pretend they're ignoring the game, but watching out of the corner of their eye.

They did try cheering the opposition, but had it calmly made clear that was a step too far, so they sit quiet and look as daft as anyone would on realising they picked the wrong team to fill the void in their shallow personality.
