Dick will still be here fella. I think you're way off. Our problem is fitness and defence, we're working on both. You don't turn the squad from last season and turn us into a force at a click of a finger.

Can't argue with that Dick but no matter how many fingers are clicked Eggflip will not turn this team into one which will consolidate itself in the Premier League. I hear that Danny Graham is going to Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the rest of the season and they've agreed to pay his full wages so that might help in bringing in a forward with some semblance of quality. Hull City got relegated last season because our so-called forwards weren't strikers arseholes. I fear that Sunderland are in the same boat.

Defoe will always score goals if he's given the service, he's one of the best finishers in the league and is currently at the rate of 1 in 3 this season, a rate he's kept up his entire career. Not only that, new signings Ola, Lens and M'vila have all scored and provided assists, Borini has had a perfectly good goal ruled out. In his head he'll see that as duck broken and be in a good frame of mind. The fans of this club have no worries about scoring goals anyone who's seen us doesn't think it's a problem except you. We're already scoring at a better rate than last season and our attacking half of the team are so unfit. They're going to get better. Defence is our problem. Like I said, you're way off, you're on a different planet and looking every bit uninformed.

My guess is yes he will. I reckon he'll turn things round pretty soon and continue to stamp his authority on them. Maybe add more in January and all will be well.

    Forever the optimist.

Whereas I respect your opinion Dick,Sunderland have played 6, won 0, drawn 2 and lost 4. They have scored 6 goals and had 13 against. I can't see what logic you are using to read something positive into that. But, let us all hope that we are just 'off to a slow start' and things improve. I do not think that Eggflip is the bloke for the job but I hope he proves me wrong.
Just as a lighten upperer - have you seen this incredible goal - it's well worth a look.

    Have a nice day mate.

Guess you need to be closer to see quality in our recruitment. There's a lot of promise in there. It's a squad well capable of staying up and as we gain fitness gel further and tweak to tighten up I think we'll surprise a lot of people baring in mind we're a write off to most.

    Ha! I love Shaolin soccer.

I shall be watching the game with interest tonight in the hope that some of that promise comes to the fore. This is perhaps the toughest game of the season for any Club - away at Manchester United - so am not expecting anything out of it.

I do not think Man U away is tougher than Chelsea or Man City. Not an easy one though, we seem to play well there for some reason, but rarely get anything for all that

Despite what I said this game should be a right off. We've won there recently but usually we get proper tonked. Can't see anything but a good beating today.

In his post match verdict email he said ''Now we have several games up until towards the end of November where we need to get a few points''.
A FEW points? Dick, we need a LOT of points just to stay with the bottom bunch, before we likely get about zero in December.

To criticise three players publicly is a clear sign that Dick's stress levels are very high and he is one very pissed off cookie. His body language on the touchline, the way he speaks when interviewed and his apparent inability to fire up the players to perform and work hard as a team speaks volumes to me.
I like Dick. I desperately want him to succeed, but I have a horrible feeling that he'll be gone before October is out.

Aye, probably! I watched the Mags game on MOTD and they have massively improved in the last week. Got a feeling they'll go on a run now after that performance, even though they're up against citeh next game!
