I only remember one notification in recent times (apart from the fooking about ones) and that was from Tina when some kunt put up a picture of another user, so it was justified. And Tina don't even talk to me, she is the best example on this site of how to ignore someone without use of the ignore button <laugh>

This lot are far worse than GC because they are so petty.

I reckon 90% of your notifications are from people trying to be offended .

They see you as the headteacher and go squealing to you over **** all.

It does become a bit tiresome. Everyone thinks i know everything that happens on every thread on the site and that i read every post...why don't you, i ask myself!

At best, whether it be you, Pete, and many others, I skim read, I'm not looking to be offended, I'm more looking for amusement, something i can latch on to and be contrary. It really is as simple as that in my world.

The people who complain the most would like this board to be an echo chamber with everyone agreeing with them.

They don't have to engage people with different views in their real lives and their other social media friends are probably all the same.

They get confused and angry that people don't agree with them so try to get you to ban or silence people .

This is actually one of the last forums used in the UK for free speech long may it continue.

I find this topic interesting. Shame a decent discussion couldn't happen on here.

I love to research into the background of things and often, not all cases, the religion has indeed included pagan festivals into their celebrations but interestingly the pagan festivals were not pagan in origin, but actually religious. If that makes sense?

So Muslims fasting. They were not the first to fast. The "pagans" of Arabia also fasted. But interestingly the pagans of Arabia before Islam followed the abrahamic religion but "invented" some matters.

Iirc the mandaists (sp) fasted but were polytheists, largely following abrahamic rituals not pagans etc

I'd guess that it all comes down to sun worshipping.

Which I would say was polytheism. The notion of one or greater god existed in polytheism.

Paganism is simply anyone outside of the main religions of today.

The polytheists/pagans if Mecca always had a belief in one God, but gave it physical form and versions. Which the main stream religions have done today to varying degrees

    Double and Single.

Double doesn't know about me and Single thinks he's own his own. Works a treat.

Or it could be my love of copious amounts of alcohol, fck knows!
