Judge him on what? We already know he's great against lower league opposition, it's how he'd perform in the Premier League that matters and on that score, we'll learn nothing from him playing against Orient.
Graham will obviously start up top against Man City and will have to do a lot of running...so either Prozzy or Matty (or both) will get a run out at some point, good chance to see what they can do in this team. I'd bring on both of them if we're getting a pasting in a 4-4-2 I wonder if SB will be in Cardiff today?
No way Graham will start up top after Cardiff exposed Man City's vulnerability to speed today. Campbell could have had two goals on breaks in the first half today, to add to his two headed goals. Aluko has to start and get Brady and Elmo using their pace down the wings. We can get something out of this game. Kompany is a massive loss for them.
Only two games but what I have seen of our strikers, Sagbo and Graham no better than NP or Simpson. Simpson used to work his behind off and had excellent hold up play. Always thought Nick P was at one point going to show us a thing or two. Clearly Bruce does not think this?
We need pace desperately, Sagbo seems fairly quick but with someone like Agbonlahor we would be so much more dangerous. Now that Sagbo out the only player we have apart from Aluko that can run in behind is Brady.
We desperately need a striker who can score goals on a regular basis, because despite new signings and last seasons strikers we still don't have one at the club.
You're acting like Agbonlahor's are common practice. The amount of players with Agbonlahor/Walcott/Bale pace are very few and far between.
Pace is only going to work with teams who play a high line is it not? With the amount of quality balls we pump into the mixer surely we need someone who can head the ball. The only person I know with frighting pace and can head the ball is Chicharito. Don't even go there.

Didn't see that I'm dreadfully sorry. I should have really done my research before posting such barbaric and utter twaddle.
Aluko never played as an out and out striker for Rangers though. He either played on the wing or had a free role just behind the 2 front men. I honestly think we should be playing Aluko and Brady on the wings and swapping them about during a game and playing 2 front men like Graham/Proschwitz and Sagbo with the Huddleston and Livermore in the middle. We'd score with that combination
Problem is that SB seems to want 3 in midfield, unless just away or when we're down to 10 men, Aluko for me is not a striker that is out & out, unless we can get the ball to him without him having to come back to the halfway line.
I think you're right, that's the formation he appears to want. Manager's often seem to see things differently to us though, I guess they're with them everyday. I still think we'll be ok this season.
