Pace - yes, creativity - no. Niko's ability to open up defences has been a big part of his game for a long time - it's just that he doesn't get played enough for the wider (non-Spurs) audience to see it.
Fair enough mate. I've rated Kranjkar since i first saw him at Pompey, he's a cracking player, and would be a really massive signing for us. I guess it figures that he will get games if Luca goes, Harry clearly rates the lad to sign him twice, but VDV and Modric would pretty much walk into any side in the world, it's not as if he hasn't played because of Bentley!
Lennon Bale and a striker with decent pace, like Gyan, would be fine, I reckon. If Krancjar's complaining about his pricetag it's a sharp change from last week where he was saying that it was all up to Tottenham and he'd love to stay if he got more football.
Well, i think it'd be a good deal for us, so i guess that means it's a bad deal for Spurs Supposedly though you are prepared to let Hutton go for £3million, which is valuing Defoe at £8-10million, which is about right. We're valuing Gyan at £25million, on the basis we somehow managed to con £20million for Jordan Henderson, and that the Scousers shelled out £35 million for Wife Beater.
Gyan is worth £25million but Defoe is only worth £8million? I'm sorry but no way Gyan ever worth more than 3 times than Jermain Defoe. Also Bent went for £24million (?) so Gyan is now worth more than him as well?
I know but just the idea of giving Sunderland 2 players and £12million for a player that isn't all that makes me wants to call the to report a robbery.
He's not worth £25 million, but the way fees are at the minute, that's what we'd expect. He's far superior to Jordan, he went for £20million. He's a better all round footballer, and younger, than Bent, wo went for £24million. Re Defoe, he scored 2 goals(?) last season? And he's approaching 30, so yeah, i'd say his value is significantly less than Gyan's, especially when it's clear Harry doesn't fancy him anymore. Fee's are a joke right now, but we are a wealthy club nowadays, and unless there's a buy out clause, we'd see Gyan as a bigger asset than Henderson, and thus would expect more financially.
Totally hypothetical. We've been linked with Hutton and Defoe, and you've been linked with Gyan. We(on the Sunderland forum), have come to the conclusion players would be better than straight cash.
**** no! What about simply Pav & Defoe? And we pay for Hutts (he was class for us) Well, what we know is Bent was on 40k a week, and when we signed Gyan, Bent spat his dummy and ****ed off to Villa for 'the wonderful service from Downing and Young'..... Karma Darren you ****ing prick. Supposedly Gyan is on that same 40k, but it may have risen, as our wage cap is (supposedly) 60k.
Done. You got Harry the twitch's number, he'lll be delighted we've thrashed it out for him, he can pocket the agents fees
