Do we really need a new or extended stadium ?

A renovated or new stadium may increase interest in the local area leading to potentially higher attendances, particularly if the quality of the football on the pitch matches the quality of the stadium. Causal fans will probably be more inclined to go to matches at a stadium that's perceived to have better facilities, be more glamorous, bigger and shinier. Therefore our relatively low attendances currently aren't necessarily an argument against a new/renovated stadium (as long as it's not too much bigger). Although I agree we need to focus on getting a decent team first.
