I'd like a striker that can score goals regularly, Charlie Austin must be sick of mediocre Burnley by now, him and Nugent would be class I would say Billy Sharp too, good at winning penos We basically need another David Nugent
Well what ever happens my opinion is you have got a very Good manager with good back room staff and what ever needs to be done WILL be done so you can all sleep easy and look foward to a good season with every chance of promotion... Iv said it a few times and i will say it again my wish would be for BOTH our clubs to be promoted and why not i think both sets of fans deserve some success.....
If Waggy carries his form on then I dont think we need another striker. Maybe if the rumours about Futacs wanting out are true and if we can get rid of Beckford then Nigel might look at another striker but we wont break the bank to sign one
If Futacs does want to go I would like us to go in for Chris Wood from West Brom. He did well for Birmingham last season and is now doing well for Millwall Apparently WBA want around 1M for him
He'd be a great signing IMO, can't believe at the massively inflated transfer market that West Brom only want that for him, has a very impressive goals:game ratio.
Apparently, the Baggies have the option of another year and want more than £1m for him, I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few clubs in for him in Jan and I expect he'll go for nearer £1.5-2m. I hope we're one of the clubs who bid, he's exactly what we need(we've done alright this season so far, but we've badly missed Matty).
After blowing 2.6M on Prossie will your owners invest again or trust Bruce to spend that much on 1 player?
As we haven't blown £2.6m on anyone and they want promotion, they'll probably let him spend whatever he wants(within reason), he seems to be getting his own way on everything and our owners desperately want promotion(they're not used to failing).
i dont care what The "pretend Teacher" says FosseFilberto.. my post was just giving my opinion that what ever needs doing Nigel P and his Staff WILL sort it out so no need to worry about it... Steve Bruce will do the same thing at Hull City... IF anyone has a problem that i Hope we Both go up then thats there tough ****
OLM is right i am sure The Allams will back Steve Bruce. They Need success after putting so much money into the club... In my opinion the Allams have been fantastic and with out them we would have sunk
Probably because they wanted greater success for the club and the city they have lived in since 1968.
Beckford is back to his normal scoring ammont of goals every week, so it might be hard to shift him in Jan. Can see Futacs having success at whatever club he joins, i think getting rid at the moment isn't the best idea.
I agree with you and I have nothing against what you said, you just don't have to say it in nearly every post you make on this board!
