Do we need another striker? Is it that important?

Anyone think Campbell could step up if needed??? If not we need another 3rd/4th strker. Lukaku would have been a great option but would want 1st team football. The other Senegalise kid (Kanote?) we were after would accept being behind Cisse and Ba, and could learn a lot from them.

Hello Mr Tiote. Wondered when you'd show.
You know this time the giveaway wasn't your username (well done there) it was two things...

1- your quick use of the word 'son'
2- your over familiarity with the way the forum works

Either way.. A new start eh?

    You know the rules...
Now prepare for the Invasion of the alien eye stealers..

First off I think Cisse and Ba will almost certainly not be going to the ACON. Ivory Coast are by far the most talented african side for me. If they rock up over the two legs I think Senegal will find it tough. Personally I'd like Jordan Rhodes as I 've been saying for a while. Even if it were to buy him and then loan him back with a recall option. I think the lad is very talented and regardless of level he's currently playing, looks a natural goalscorer.

The one thing I would throw into the ring is Adam Campbell. Yes he is very young and slight, but the lads raw pace could make him a useful impact player this season.

I don't think we are desperado for a striker and I wouldn't worry if we didn't get one (you have Ba, Cisse, Shola, Benni can play off a front man, as can Obertan, and young Sammi and Campbell although raw could do a job)

I think Campbell may get some oportunities and if Senegal dont qualify for the acon we may be ok but injuries tend to strike when you least need them so would like to see another striker in. Rhodes would do for me. Wouldnt be surprised if we do wait till Jan though. Main priority now if the Anita deal goes through is a FB and a CB for me. Debuchy and Douglas would suit me there.
