I don't think it's to do with the team side of it, it's to do with the understanding the customers side of it.
We need a good General Manager who works to AA, adopts a common-sense approach and is good at dealing with difficult people and the problems they create; football experience would be invaluable, so I would ask Steve Bruce to start a list , as he will know of them and he will have to work closely with whoever it is.
The real reason AP went, was simply because he was too close to Barmby. As for getting someone in, it will be a yes man who does exactly what he's told. AA has just driven out someone who was not a yes man, he won't make that mistake again.
