Looks like it's all calmed down a bit now. An alternative to a mod (should we be re-visited by wums) is to create a private thread within the forum (Newcastle sub section has one) which requires a pin to access. I don't think it's too hard to do, the thread could be a '(cr)haven' for regulars to use should it be neccesary.
