ok bradford is an exception £199 per adult for the season is a bargain. Gills would still not sell out if they charged the same. Bet they may sell 1000 to 2000 extra seats which would not make enough
if we have 3000 season ticket holders at £370 per head is £1.1million £16.81 per match
if we get extra 2000 season ticket holders at £200 per head is £1 million.
Bradford should be a championship club with there fan base averaging 13 000
we cannot ever get those fans.
They can only do this type of deal because they have over 10000 every week as they are a big club. We are not.
I like you dont believe in a new stadium as we dont have a big fan base.
Scally does offer deals to non season ticket holders which does annoy me but it will attract some extra
£350 a season is a fair amount for league 1
Lets hope we are still in league 1

Good points you make and much I agree with. I listened to a Bradford video and it was stating in around about way, that the reason they get the attendances they do is because of these offers. As earlier I get your point about Ebbsfleets pricing increasing as and IF they gain promotion, but credit where it is due, 2,500 turnout for a National League South game is nothing short of fantastic, with that you get all the add-on sales to.

I'm not intending to insult Scally, I just wouldn't do that, but sometimes I just think he could be better advised than a lot of silly gimmicks imho. If you are going to sell something sell it big and sell it proud. Because as it stands I could go to Ebbsfleet, drink 3 pints of beer, have a full English breakfast, attend a game and still have change out of what we charge at Priestfield. After all as alwaysright highlights it's all about value for money.

I saw Pop Idol contestant Rik Waller at the AFC Wimbledon game a few weeks back, maybe he can lead a consortium with Kate Garraway to buy us?

Strange part with Martin is I've seen him come under a lot of stick in past games, something I've really not understood, I once again see it as supporters slating a player that has ability but maybe lacks confidence, our fans sometimes really don't help our destiny.

Somebody took down the Ady Pennock Tactical Genius banner from the Rainham End. Bet that's a few quid somebody is never getting back.

AP has stated that he is going to the Walsall v Port Vale game tonight.
That means he'll not be with the players for a fair chunk of today - and by the time he returns home it will be the middle of the night !
As he's probably [should be], losing a lot of sleep worrying about our position in the league table, just how can he afford to take a day off -- and just how bright will he be tomorrow morning ? What does he hope to achieve in Walsall today - when he should be working extra hard with the players.

I'm fine with him going as long has he is not claiming it on club expenses or club time. Our club is strapped for cash, it serves no purpose going to Walsall unless he is doing at his own leisure and out of his own pocket.

He can still do training today. Only takes 3 hrs

What takes 3 hours ? - our defending ? - that takes more than 3 hours in each game.
I would argue the complete opposite. Every game I've been to the defence has finished 30 seconds after kick off, it's just a waiting game after that for the inevitable.

and those 30 seconds were spent just walking out on to the pitch. Never sure how they got back off it again, now i know where all those old three wheeled disability chairs disappeared to from the 70's.
