We have played really well in the first half. Even after they equalized against the run of play, we bounced back immediately with a second goal. Jed Wallace has been the stand-out player so far, apart from scoring the early goal, he has been behind all our best moves. We will be very lucky to hang on to him in the summer, but at least we have him under contract. We seem to enjoy 4-1 wins, don't we ?! I hope we go on to score more goals in the second half. We still need that 8-1 win to match Saints and the Cherries efforts earlier this season - hope we can do it
There'll be no stopping SB3 this weekend if that other team close to your Town don't manage a result as well. It'll be like a feeding frenzy at a Weight Watchers christmas party. I shall continue to watch from afar just to make sure nobody combusts.
Cambridge substituted Ryan Bird at half time, and appear to have changed their formation. Awfs needs to respond if necessary to even things up. Could be a game to bring on Johnny Ertl to fight for us in midfield.
The trouble with Ertl, and he's a player I like, but too often he plays too deep. We need to carry on attacking IMO
Now we've got that 5th goal I'm happy for Ertl to be brought on - a feeling of relief has overwhelmed me
We've only ever managed 7 away from home once; 15 November 1930: Newcastle 4-7 Pompey in the First Division
