I stand corrected OLM

OK there is an obvious knee jerk reaction to blame Leeds for this thugs behaviour, but wait a minute, the lad already has a banning order - This wasn't at Elland road, Leeds did not admit him to the ground Sheffield Wednesday did - There are police spotters around the stadium before the ground - OK he obviously made their job harder by not showing himself to them, but the police and SWFC admitted the twat into the ground
Can anyone tell me exactly what LUFC as a club have done wrong here? - They didn't let him into the ground - It wasn't their stewards - I seem to recall the world recoiled in horror when under apartheid South Africa started convicting people by association
Unfortunately all leeds fans will be tarnished with the same brush, i was at the Hull v Ipswich game yesterday and the first chant that went up from both sets of fans was "we all hate leeds scum", now as a hull fan i am used to this chant at the K.C but normally shouted when there is a lull in the action and very rarely do the opposition fans join in with such vigour as they did yesterday and never is it chanted as the teams kick off, so even though i am sure you guys are used to hearing it, i would expect it to be chanted in future with more venom, all because of one pathetic cowardly streak of piss.
Music to my ears.![]()

Your posts strike me as a little extreme & immature sometimes. Please tell me you agree that the lad was a fool who has done wrong.
leeds will have to pay the penalty because they are responsible for crowd control

I am not condoning the actions of the vile thug that ran onto the pitch and attacked Kirkland but can anyone imagine that happening at Elland Road?
Where were the Police?
Where were the stewards?
They knew it was a local derby grudge match!
They knew Leeds were bringing 5000 supporters!
I hope this lad gets banned for life, and has time to reflect on what he has done from the confines of a prison cell, BUT, if Wednesday had been doing their jobs properly, this would not have happened!!!!
I hope he get a jail sentence & get buggered inside.
I don't think we will be punished for anything in the process as we probably have done everything. But we will be punished for the act, just not clear how much:
v Carlisle, our players were attacked by fans at the end of the match
v Millwall, our goalkeeper was attacked by some fans
There was hardly a punishment, and they were the home teams' fans attacking the away team, so if we are punished by much, it will show a level of bias that is unprecdented.
But the guy who did it, his mates who shielded him, and the people who got him his ticket and membership card, should all have the book thrown at them
However a few spot checks singling out groups of lads? Surely you can spot a group of half a dozen lads as being more likely to cause grief over a guy going in with his son? I wouldn't be offended being stopped and checked if it meant getting rid of the **** element.
The most worrying part about this is that they all wear the same design adidas trainers in varying colours. Plus the rest of the "uniform". A mate of mine knows a kid who unfortunately runs a set of hoolies, we bumped into them at Barnsley last season and literally every single one of about 50 of them were wearing the same adidas trainers. When we were in the Metrodome, the police had absolutely no trouble identifying who the trouble causers were. I could walk in and out of that place all day long without even a flinch from the coppers. Every time one of them tried to leave the area we were in, they got stopped. Quick check for banning orders on 50-100 easily identifiable trouble causers can't be that difficult.
