You missed the point. He's not got more than 24 in a league season and so far that's a one off (I expect him to repeat or get close to it, but as it stands he's only got 1 full season of pedigree as a high scoring striker) So soft lads comment that in a full season he'd score 40 is baseless and nothing more than fantasy - which is odd given how much he loves a stat.......lol.

I'm not saying anyone is or is not world class because it's a vague and boring term that even people who talk about it don't agree on the definition. I've been told Liverpool don't have any "world class" players at all. Yet we play some of the best football in the world and came a close 2nd in the league. So I don't give a **** for "world class". I do want Sturridge in my team rather than RVP though.
Sturridge would at least get through the season I suppose. RVP would miss at least 10 games through injury and leave you with Lambert up front Didnt you sign another striker? Origi? is he a striker?
Although it's not as if Sturridge is never injured. Origi's on loan at Lille for the season, and Aspas is in Spain. Borini's still here for the moment though.
