He didn't make Barca and Bayern dominant forces, they already were. He has actually taken Bayern backwards. City's "excellent team" needs about 5 new players to get them back to the standard of 3/4 years ago.
There's no way City aren't going to be a dominant force next season. Guardiola is a brilliant manager, and he will be given a wealth of funds to buy the players he wants. I'd expect to see them sign Paul Pogba to replace Yaya Toure and get upgrades on Clichy, Bony, Mangala and a few others.
Pogba would be a great start but they need to replace one of the Fernandos too they are not good enough. Two new centrebacks are needed and a proper back up for Aguero, fullbacks could probably make do for another year.
If they can keep Kompany fit then I think they only need one CB, but can you not see Guardiola being given a ton of cash to go out and get who he wants ? It's frightening, they have the best manager, with bucket loads of cash to spend.
I think Diego is in denial. But I don't think it's just City he could have been successful with, he could have done it with Arsenal too. I don't think we're far off to be honest and if Pep came to us, I could see him winning the title with us.
He will certainly get the cash backing to do well. I am not convinced of his managerial abilities just yet, if he rebuilds City and makes them dominant in England and a force in Europe I will start to believe the hype.
Nothing to be in denial about mate, my opinion of him is not and has never been as high as most other people's. He took over a team at Bayern that looked set to dominate Europe for years to come and managed to take them backwards. Like I said, if he can dominate the PL (where every team is out to compete/beat you) and make City a force in Europe, I may change my opinion of him.
Looks like you might be after Mourinho http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football..._the_day&ns_source=facebook&ns_linkname=sport
To be fair, this was one of the worst kept secrets in the history of football. Everyone knew he was whoring himself out to United and he's stated before he would relish the opportunity to manage them. Chelsea legend indeed...
Not sure I would want him, too much **** comes with him. If he grows up a bit and decides to make a proper go of a job he would do very well with us, just can't see him lasting any longer than his usual 3 years before he wants his pay-off and next job.
I hear you. He's a bellend and I wouldn't want him anywhere near Arsenal. But he has to be better than LVG surely ?
To be honest I want Maureen to go to manure, it'll make the Premiership even more intriguing. Wenger, Pep, Klopp, and Maureen. A lot of big personalities and even more competition.
If LvG backs off his stupid philosophy (which the last two games show some sign's he might be doing) then I would be quite happy for him to see out his contract. After that, who knows
The new Abba. Can't see them lasting long, probably due to Wenger and Maureen falling out. Wenger catching her in bed with Klopp..
