One of the supporters on SMB has been monitoring an ITK guy from InsiderArsenal that has been tweeting that Djorou may be coming our way.

Now the same guy is tweeting that Wenger has been monitoring Cattermole and offer is being considered.

I'll look for some more.

A bit suspect, from glimpses I've seen of him, silly challenges inside the box leading to penalties for the opposition,
I think this is the reason Arsenal are looking at Samba/Dann.

i know little about this bloke but just googled him and i feel he had a bad game against england but other than that i know nowt <bubbly>
 
So could this mean a we offload Catts to the gooners and they give us Djourou in return, a cm for a cb?

I think Djourou is too much of a liabilty, wasn't he shipped out on loan to Brum at one stage?
 
No doubt this would be related to Samba or Dann going to Arsenal.

Lots of mixed feelings on Djourou, think rightly so. Sometimes looks very useful, other times looks a bit like Nos.
 
Djourou has been quality for Arsenal this season, was briliant against Barcelona in the champions league.

He is a good ball playing defender and would be a good adition to the starting XI

Cannot see this happening but if there was a swap deal on the cards Djourou for Cattermole we should go for it no doubt about it

Hard choice pal

I think both players are very good, Samba is built like a tank and throws himself infront of everything, Djourou is more of a modern day centre back who is good on the ball and can play it out from the back.

Think you need one of each in a centre back partnership to complement each other.

As for us who would I rather have I aint sure as I would have both at the club in a heartbeat
 
With Jones to United, you might figure Wenger has his choice between bringing Samba in or keeping Djourou. Thought the rumor might have a little meat on the bone if Wenger fancies Samba.

Gotta say, Arsenal need a little steel in the spine, so the Catts rumor makes sense. Just don't see him in the starting XI though.
