    Damn.

What a match though. It was worthy of being a final itself.

    Yes it was.

A fantastic match. Andy has done himself proud there.

Congrats to Novak and a big well done to Andy :)

Normally after a Murray defeat so late in a slam I'll feel disappointed but today I actually feel like he's made progress. He may have lost but mentally he's proved to himself that he can match the best player in the world on the biggest stage. If you look at his recent record when being knocked out of a slam by the big players he's went down rather tamely and without much of a fight, for example in all of his slam finals he's lost in straight sets but he's matched Djokovic blow for blow today and the match really could've went either way. I think this one match will serve him well for the rest of the year

    Totally agree.

Until today I thought men's tennis was split into three groups: the top three, then Murray, then the rest. Today he proved he deserves to be included with Djokovic, Nadal and Federer.

His ability to go five sets toe to toe with Djokiovic augurs well for the rest of the season.
