    Must be a first though.

He top scored for a PL club.
He immediately moved to another PL club.
With his contract expiring he's set to drop down a division and get a pay rise.

I doubt any player has ever managed that before.

Let's be fair we would have taken him, but he is a ****ing greedy **** and we are well shut of the mercenary knob jockey. I feel that we will get better in the E.L.Window,and not be stuck with him on huge wages, as we were with the pikey you know who. That is all.

Reports suggesting DJ Campbell's proposed deal from QPR to Blackburn has fallen due to late paperwork.

Because he'll want more money than what they're offering.

Says a lot when Blackburn, who'll throw money at anything, can't entice him with their ridiculous wage 'structure'.

So DJ Campbell will miss their home game with Bristol City then sign on loan next week.

Not really a big deal is it?

I thought you were joking when you said he was a greedy b*st*rd - after the events of today I am glad we have not been held to ransom - we can't afford to go down that route and jeopordise the club's financial stability.

What a total **** this DJ Campbell is.

He's taken some cracking advice from his agent in this window, it seems.

Will he though? Harry has missed out on Crouch and Odemwinge and will consider himself a little short of options up front. He might decide to hold on to Campbell now just in case of injuries / suspensions etc.

If i'd said that this time two seasons ago then you'd be right.

But we're fine now under Pearson, as long as we can get rid of Danns and Beckford then we'll be fine. Sven did his best impression of Harry Redknapp when he was here.

Why would I joke about it? :p

He's a knob who is only ever in it for the money.

    Oh, brilliant, Just Brilliant!

    Massive agent fail!

I'd say that takes the length and value of contract out of things between now and the summer.

What's the betting he'll be ringing Brucie up begging for a loan within the week? Promotion chaser or mid-table mess with clear structural uncertainty?

If the greedy twat had A) sacked his agent and B) made a footballing decision, he'd be pulling o a shirt on Saturday.

If that honour is secondary to him then we've dodged a bullet. Simple as!

Edit - The whisky I had just supped is now on my screen after reading this!

What a bellend. I hate it when you see players going to a **** club for more money. It's not just because I'm a City fan it just pisses me off whenever I see a player do this. Odemwingie for example, why would he need to drop to QPR when he's (without checking his recent form) a top striker for a top half club?!

I nearly let out a little wee when I saw this, what a shame, couldn't happen to a nicer and more prioritised guy...

But, if we we're to get him one way or another, I think this way would benefit us more as essentially he'd be playing for a contract somewhere, where as if he'd signed on a perm today he'd know he's secure for 2 1/2 years. Catch my drift?

Still don't want him... yet. Lets see how Gedo looks first <ok>
