31 isn't the oldest age, so hopefully, he realises he's still got quite a bit of his career to go. At least another 5 years surely. He always has time to go back to London. He could bloody well retire and move back there
Hopefully you're right but he might see Palace as an equal to us and their location could swing it their way
It is a concern, but if Palace have apparently ruled themselves out of the running then there may be no option. It's between DQPR reserves/bench in a relegation scrap or First team football for Hull City chasing Promotion.
One London paper is saying Holloway saying he thinks there's no chance of him going to Palace, but this one says they're still chasing him(along with Watford)... http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/crystal-palace-still-chasing-campbell-deal? Though I think this is the one that said Stockdale was going nowhere, on the same day that we got him back on loan.
From the Palace correspondent on the Croydon Advertiser... Mark R ‏@AdvertiserSport Holloway said he doesn't think DJ Campbell will be coming to Palace, but he wants Jacob Butterfield to stay until May.
Anonymous Agent ‏@anon_agentITK DJ Campbell is more likely to join #hullcity then #cpfc. #CPFC have offered a loan for #QPR's DJ Campbell. & www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/crystal-palace-still-chasing-campbell-deal
BBC Sports(Interactive) Editor... Stuart Rowson ‏@StuartRowson I've been asked this a couple of times in the past week - so let me confirm that @PeteSmithBBC is not an @bbcsport employee.
David McIntyre ‏@davidmcintyre76 looks like Campbell will sign for Hull. Surprised as I didn't think he'd end up there. Good offer though. Good luck to the guy.
He's the bloke who owns the West London Sport site that's got the links above, he's ex-BBC and seems to be followed by most QPR fans.
Are not 99% of all transfers down to money. Why else would FC want to move to Cardiff City other than money ? Some clubs just dont ever learn. Indeed it does. Steve Bruce was the first manager to take DJ out of Lon don to Birmingham of all places. DJ also played for Blackpool so its not as though he tied to London at all. In fact why anyone LIKES London is beyond me. Hate the place. It should be turned into a maximum secuirity prison (just like the film Escape from New York). imo Indeed. A very easy commute actually by train. But show DJ some of the gaffs in Swanland and he will leave London in a shot.
Yes but his ****ing WAG wont like the shopping round here will she tickler. She wont be able to take the Harvey Niks cold turkey.
Harvey Niks in Leeds. Less than an hour from Swanland. And thats faster then you can get across London from a residential area to Knightsbridge (Harvey Niks). And you won't get mugged on the tube on the way (unless we sign up Marlon King again).
Would You go to Cardiff just for that?????????? I've been there to watch matches, and it would take a lot of money and some pretty substantial wild horses, mind, I supose after Sunderland.................!
